Size is 1/2″ which is fine for collars and very delicate things. the Original was recovered in Spain, I purchased it from a digger.  I have the original circa 1620-1720, originally made of bronze.  Fugawee button number Number BU-252.

We saw that this button lends itself to painting you can see it in a cornflower blue.
